Pekingese on the Go

An interesting fact about the Pekingese breed is the fact they love to be on the go. The Pekingese I guess you can say love adventure.

Therefore they always want to go places and see new interesting things; they have discovered that the best way for them is to go when their owners do. So every time the owners say the word go!

The Pekingese gets all excited and is the first one waiting at the door. Oh boy a car ride, this is a new concept to the Pekingese they can go without having to walk or run the car does all the carrying. As well as it goes really fast. However the little Pekingese likes the adventurous part of the ride, it wants to be where its owners are at all times.

Pekingese want to be busy they will busy themselves for hours in play sessions with other Pekingese. They can also amuse themselves for hours. They have to be busy what better way than to get a couple of your friends involved in a game of tag around the yard. Or the Pekingese will sit with a favorite toy and spend hours protecting it from others. It will toss the toy around the yard and play with it alone if there are no other playmates. Pekingese have also been known to just take a squeaky toy and chew on it to make it squeak.

Pekingese will also like family outings; these are places the family will go together. The family might go camping on vacation to a lake or a resort. This occasion is perfect for the Pekingese to get out and explore. Get to experience new smells, and new things to look at. The Pekingese loves to be outside as much as possible. Therefore this is the perfect occasion for the Pekingese to get outdoors. The Pekingese does not want to be left stuck at home being bored. When there is so much to do on a camping trip.

The Pekingese could also be out with the family on the boat for family fun and a little fishing. Most Pekingese have never seen fish up close, so this will be a new and exciting thing for the Pekingese to experience. Swimming from the boat might also be a fun thing for the Pekingese to do with the family.

Please make sure that the Pekingese wears a flotation device, or a doggie life jacket. This can be fun but it could also be a danger; Pekingese is a small dog so you might not want to expose them to an area where extremely large fish might be. Also watch that any currents are not to strong for the little Pekingese to swim in. They could tire quickly and therefore get into serious trouble quickly.

Taking walks around the block or going for a walk to the city park can also amuse pekingese. There are interesting things going on there as well.

This can also be an adventure for the Pekingese. As long as the little Pekingese is on the go he/she is a happy little Pekingese
