Improper diet is one of the preventable causes of disease in your fish. The symptoms of an improper diet are general poor health, paleness of color, and in activity. The cause of peace symptoms is you. You are the only person that is responsible for the nutrition of your pet. It is your responsibility to make sure that they have a proper diet.
The way to treat an unbalanced diet is to make sure that your fish receives all of the nutrients that it needs in order to survive. You need to make sure that it receives all of the vitamins and minerals that are necessary for good health. You can begin by feeding a wide variety of commercially packaged foods, such as flakes, and you can add small servings of fresh lettuce and other green vegetables. You can also introduce a small amount of live foods. Live foods will provide necessary enzymes that your fish needs in order to be healthy.

The treatment for your fish is to let them fast for two days. During this time you can improve poor water conditions caused by the uneaten, nasty food before it leads to a worse problem. You might need to start measuring the amount of food that you give them each serving so that you don't over feed them.
Another problem that sometimes occurs with fish is that they become frightened. If your fish run for cover any time the aquarium lights are turned on, then they possibly are too frightened and they risk physical injuries from collisions with the decorations that are found in your tank. Some common causes of fear in your fish would be people rapping on the glass constantly and also pets that are trying to get into the tank for a tasty snack. The way that you would treat frightened fish would be to gradually increase the lighting in the room by opening the drapes and turning on lamps before you switch on the aquarium lights.
